🖥️ Step-by-Step Setup:

1. Connect Your Mixer

4. Start Your Stream

  • Press “Start Streaming” in OBS.

  • The live audio feed from your mixer is now sent to the Ådience cloud.

  • Users can access this stream in the Ådience app by scanning the corresponding QR code.

📱 Sharing with Audience:

  • Convert the stream link (with stream ID) into a QR code using tools like goqr.me.

  • Print or display the QR code in the arena so users can scan and listen via the Ådience app.

💡 Tip:

OBS does not stream video here — it's used only for the audio from your mixer. Ensure the OBS meters show active sound levels from your mixer, and do a test stream if possible before going live.

WHY OBS STUDIO?

OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a free and open-source software used for video and audio recording and live streaming. It's widely used by content creators, streamers, educators, and broadcasters.

🔹 Key Features:

  • Multiple sources: mix webcam, screen, audio, and media files

  • Scene transitions and filters

  • Streaming to platforms like YouTube, Twitch — and custom setups like Ådience

  • Runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux

For Ådience, OBS is used only for audio — sending sound from the speaker team’s mixer to the app so listeners in the arena can follow the game in real time.
